Qualified.

Our professional services encompass the areas of non-destructive testing (NDT), geology, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, utility mapping, geophysics, and environmental sciences. EGSci provides full geotechnical consulting and foundation mapping services using a wide range of NDT methods including, but not limited to, ground penetrating radar (GPR), seismic, electrical resistivity, electro-magnetic (EM), and various sonic methodologies for NDT of concrete. All of the key personnel assigned to our projects are professionally licensed in their respective fields throughout several states. All of our field staff have degrees in engineering or geophysics, in addition to practical experience in a variety of foundation types and geologic settings, allowing us to become experts in the field of foundation mapping and geotechnical analysis. Furthermore the combination of staff with technical backgrounds in foundations, soils, and NDT theory, working in collaboration, allows for greater understanding of methods to conduct and interpret the results for specific projects. Our technical staff also hold certifications as “Professional Utility Locator” from the Utility Training Academy. We feel that with our background we offer a standard of expertise that cannot be challenged by many others in the NDT and geotechnical community.

Respected.
The engineering community recognizes that foundation mapping, geotechnical services and geophysical services have been core work of EGSci since the inception of our company. EGSci Consulting has conducted over 2,000 foundation mapping and geotechnical investigations at tower sites throughout the entire United States. Over time we have continually fine-tuned our investigative techniques and added over $500,000 of specialized equipment to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our foundation mapping and geotechnical investigations. EGSci has also been asked by local chapters of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) and the American Society of Civil Engineers to provide training seminars introducing and explaining NDT methodologies and engineering applications to the local geotechnical engineering community. Let us bring EGSci U to you!

Responsive.
EGSci has developed relationships with a nationwide network of geotechnical drilling companies that we mobilize to sites in various parts of the country. Our in-house NDT equipment includes multiple ground penetrating radar units (with a variety of antenna frequencies, multiple equipment mounting and antenna options to best suit specific site conditions), numerous types of specialized seismic/sonic instruments, rebar meters, resistivity meters, and other specialized electromagnetic instrumentation. In addition to our NDT equipment, we have a variety of minimally invasive tools to dig, hand auger, and probe foundation elements to investigate their depth and geometry. We own all the equipment we use to perform foundation mapping investigations, allowing us to approach each project with quick response times and use of multiple techniques without worrying about equipment availability and high equipment rental costs.

Proud.
Our strong and unique local presence in the Southeastern United States is something we are proud of, and excited to build upon as, we expand our U.S. coverage. Geophysics has been a core service since the company’s inception, distinguishing EGSci from others in the industry, and allowing the company to perform these services successfully on multiple ongoing contracts for clients such as Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), the City of Atlanta, Georgia Power, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties, multiple universities throughout Georgia, and the United States Armed Forces.

EGSci is certified as a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) with the Georgia Department of Transportation,
a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) with the State of Georgia, and
a Local Small Business Enterprise (LSBE) with DeKalb County, City of Atlanta, and Clayton County.
